Standard 11 Induction for Surface Coal Mines

About the Course

This course is suitable for newcomers to the mining industry seeking legal authorization to work on a surface coal mine site in Queensland.

Specific mine sites may have unique requirements for generic induction training, so potential enrollees are advised to confirm site entry requirements beforehand.

Participants will receive a Practical Skills Assessment/Workplace Experience Logbook . This must be completed on-site and endorsed by their supervisor within twelve (12) months of initiation.

A basic to moderate level of English language, literacy, and numeracy is necessary.
