About the Course

The Mining Supervisors course focuses on the Coal mining industry, covering both surface and underground operations. Upon completion, participants will possess the skills to fulfill the role of a Mine Safety and Health Representative as outlined in the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act 1999.

The course targets coal mine workers aiming for career advancement to roles like leading hand, supervisor, Superintendent, or those elected as Site Safety and Health Representatives. Successful completion offers excellent career progression within the mining industry and facilitates a smoother transition for individuals from non-mining backgrounds.
