About the Course 

This nationally accredited training  reflects the role of individuals who are drilling and blast superindents who require the minmum AQF 5 recognised competencies for Standard 22.

They perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring the application of significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment, roles, techniques for the team they supervise, managing drill and blast operations , health and safety and the establishemnt, implementation amd maintainence of systems

• BSBWHS521 Ensure a safe workplace for a work area
• RIIRIS501 Implement and maintain management systems to control risks
• RIIERR505 Implement emergency preparedness and response systems
• RIIMPO502 Manage the interaction of heavy and light vehicles and mining equipment
• RIIBHD501 Manage Blast Hole Drilling Operations
• RIIMEX501 Implement pit plan
