About the Course

This course provides skills and knowledge required to manage  surface blasting operations in the Mining, Drilling and Civil Infrastructure sector.

This course is designed for those:

• Surface Drill and Blast Supervisors and Senior Engineers
• In some jurisdictions maybe mandated for Operations/Line Managers with responsibility for daily drill and blast operations
• Persons wishing to obtain their Quarry Managers ticket
• Drill and Blast Crew wishing to apply for the NSW Blasting Explosives User Licence (BEUL).

Statement of Attainment –  For each unit below

• RIIBLA307E Conduct a blast survey
• RIIBLA401E Manage blasting Operations
• RIIBLA402E Monitor and control the effects of blasting on the environment

How Can I Study

• Theory – either at your workplace or via Microsoft teams
• Practical – at your workplace
