Queensland Motor Sales Licence

Course Overview 

The completion of this course satisfies the educational prerequisite that is required for a Motor Vehicle Licence with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading. By completing the latest AUR modules as outlined below you will learn all there is to know about the motor vehicle industry, including exercising safe business practices, complying with all legal requirements and how to interact and sell to customers in a convenient time frame.

The motor vehicle sales licence will allow you to sell a used vehicle including its parts, acquire a used vehicle including vehicle parts to sell either as a complete unit or in parts plus sell a used vehicle on behalf of another person (on consignment).

Sell a leased vehicle to the lessee under the terms of the lease and negotiate on a person’s behalf for that person to buy or sell a used motor vehicle.
