Certificate III in Trenchless Technology reflects the role of a skilled operator working in trenchless technology in the civil construction industry.

Trenchless technology consists of the methods, materials, and equipment used for replacing, rehabilitating, or installing pipes with little or no excavation of the ground above.

It also makes it possible to install the utilities under rivers, highways, canals, civil works and other obstacles with no disruption of flow and with minimum or no damage to the environment.

Packaging Rules – 26 Units consisting of 9 Core and 17 Electives 

Core Units – All Core units must be completed and cannot be changed.

• Read and interpret plans and job specifications.

• Spray linings for existing pipeline systems
• Install close-fit linings for existing pipeline systems.
• Install slip lining in existing pipeline systems.
• Renovate large diameter pipes and chambers.
• Operate a vehicle loading crane.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Operate small plant and equipment.
• Control traffic with stop-slow bat
• Drain and dewater civil construction site.
