About the Qualification – RII50120

This qualification reflects the role of individuals such as mine superintendents, working in open cut mines.  They perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy and requiring the application of significant judgement in planning and determining the selection of equipment, roles, and techniques for the team they supervise.

Their roles are to implement the Safety and Health Management System as per AQF 5 comptencies for Standard 22 

Packaging Rules – 13 units consisting of 3 Core and 10 Electives 

Core Units – All Core units must be completed and cannot be changed.

• RIIGOV501E Identify, implement, and maintain legal compliance requirements.
• RIIRIS501E Implement and maintain management systems to control risk.

• BSBOPS502 Manage business operational plans.
• RIIWHS301E Conduct safety and health investigations.
